Do I have to Register?
No, you do not have to register your copy of AccountLogon.
However, if you register you will have access to all the extra features. You will also be contributing to the further development and support of this great product, so we encourage you to please register!

How many Licenses do I need?
If you decide to register this software you must purchase a license
for each user. For example, if you install AccountLogon on 3 office PC's that are used by different people, you must purchase 3 licenses. If you install AccountLogon on your office PC and your home PC, then you only need to purchase 1 license.

Why should I Register?
If you register you will have access to all the extra program features.

What information do I have to provide to Register?
If paying Online you will need to provide your payment details to the third party website which handles payments for us. This website will NOT pass your payment details to us, but will provide us with your contact details so we can send your Registration Code to you. If you post your payment directly to us you need to provide your email address so we can send out your Registration Code.

How does Registration work?
Once we receive your payment for the license fee we will send your Registration Code to the nominated Email Address. When you enter your registration details into the registration screen, AccountLogon will unlock the full functionality of the software.

Do I get a CDROM or other media?
We do NOT send you a CDROM or any other physical media, please do not expect a physical delivery of any kind. We fulfill your order electronically by sending you a registration code to activate the full version of AccountLogon.

What if it says my Registration Code is invalid?
This is a common problem and may be caused by leading or trailing spaces in the email and registration code after you have pasted them into the program. Please remove all leading and trailing spaces before proceeding.

What if it says I am not connected to the Internet?
This is because AccountLogon is trying to verify your registration code and it can not access our website to do so. To fix this, give AccountLogon.exe temporary access to the internet while you are entering your registration details for the first time. When complete, you can revoke this access. If you don't know how to do this with your firewall (eg Norton, ZoneAlarm, XP firewall), you can temporarily switch OFF the firewall during the registration process and switch it back ON when complete.

What if I change my Email Address?
Everything will still work fine. However, if you would like to continue receiving the latest information about AccountLogon please notify us of your new Email Address by using the Online Support Page.

For how long is my Registration Code valid?
After you register for a particular Version of AccountLogon you can continue using that Registered Version for as long as you like (subject to the terms of the license). You should regularly use the Software Upgrade menu to check for the latest releases of that Version. For example, if you are using Version 2.4 and you run the Software Upgrade facility, you will be asked if you would like to upgrade to Version 2.5.

I use an email filter, will I still get my Registration Code?
We will be sending your registration code to your email address, so please DO NOT use an EMAIL FILTER facility that requires us to complete a form (or click a link) to verify our identity. If you do, your registration details will not be delivered. To avoid this delay, please ensure emails from our domain ACCOUNTLOGON.COM are accepted by your filter or use another email address with your order.

What if I have not received my Registration Code?
Firstly, please check that your email filter has not blocked our emails to you, otherwise we will not be able to get in touch with you! You will be surprised how many people keep sending us emails saying they haven't received their registration code, when in fact they are not receiving it due to their own email filters blocking it!

If you have posted payment and have not received your Registration Code within 2 weeks or you have paid Online and not received your Registration Code within a few days please notify us by using the Online Support Page.

What if my PC crashed and I lost everything?
If you don't have a backup of your accounts file (eg 'MyAccounts.dat') then you must install AccountLogon again, create a new accounts file and add your accounts from scratch. If you do have a backup of your accounts file, you need to install AccountLogon and then copy your DAT file to the folder "c:\program files\accountlogon\" (or wherever you installed the program), then that DAT file will be opened at startup. Alternatively, put your DAT file anywhere on your PC, then when you run AccountLogon you must click CANCEL at the initial master password prompt, then locate your DAT file using the "Open Accounts File" dialog box. It will then become the default.

Also, if you are a registered user, you need to enter your email and registration code into the program's HELP | REGISTRATION menu. If you lost your registration details please complete our support form.

What is your Refund Polciy?
This is try-before-you-buy software. The free version of AccountLogon allows you to use the software for as long as you like to determine if it's right for you. Please DO NOT register now and expect a refund if you change your mind or you find it doesn't work as expected. Many people try to abuse this system, so we have no other option but to REJECT ALL REFUND REQUESTS.
